NICKY
I lost my best friend last year. His name is Nicky. He is a German Shepard and he was 16 years old. It was a Thursday night. My Mum was bringing in the washing when she looked over and saw Nicky sitting alone. She went over and saw he wasn't answering to her call. She went and got me and my Dad and my boyfriend. We went down and sat with him until he went to sleep for the last time. We moved him and put him in the shed. His sister Molly sat at the door all night. The next day we dug a hole and placed him in it. Everyday I go and see him. Even though, we had him for 16 years, it's very hard to say goodbye. WE LOVE YOU NICKY. Molly, his sister had a hard time at first but she is a lot better now. She still sleeps at the door of the shed. Nicky, I miss you. Someday we will be together again playing our game. You are my best friend. You have given me so many happy memories. I miss my best friend. Odie thank you for letting me tell my story about my best friend. Annette
